Tip's Since 1954

Tip's Hardware has been a haven for South Jersey sportsmen since 1954. We have everything for the active sportsman. For fishermen we have bait and tackle, rods and reels, storm gear and marine supplies. For the hunter we stock boots, ammo, guns, bows and archery supplies.

Location and Directions


Tip's Hardware is located on US Rte 9 and Dock Road in West Creek, NJ. West Creek is between Manahawkin and Tuckerton and just minutes from Long Beach Island. From the Garden State Parkway, take Exit 58, turn on Rte 539 toward Tuckerton. Travel on Rte 539 for 1/4 mile turning left onto Thomas Ave. Thomas Avenue will end on US Rte 9 in West Creek. Turn left (US Rte 9 North) and Tip's will be just up the road on your right.

Fishing Tips

If fish follow your lure but do not bite, try dunking the lure in a container of cod liver oil. The oil will make your lure seem more edible to the fish and as it spreads through the water, it will attract hungry fish.
